映画「アメリカ人ムービースター」：本八幡・船橋・津田沼・佐倉 英会話・英語塾「あぜりあ」

Who’s your favorite American actor or actress? I sometimes ask people this in my classes. Popular answers include Scarlett Johansson, George Clooney, Julia Roberts, Johnny Depp, Tom Cruise or Leonardo Decaprio. Jim Carrey was my favorite when I was a kid. He was wacky and did some really funny movies. I watch them now and still laugh. He wasn’t really an actor with a broad range, although he did one great dramatic movie, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. Sometimes you can just like an actor who isn’t really brilliant or versatile. That being said, two great American actors have died recently who were generally regarded as being brilliant. Heath Ledger actually died a while ago, but Philip Seymour Hoffman was more recent.
