Summer Blues

While I truly enjoy this summer heat I just can’t stand when it gets too hot in my apartment. I really miss central air conditioning, not really a big fan of the one room units. I use a fan at night and turn on the air conditioning unit when it gets too hot. I have the metal shutters drawn to keep away the beautiful yet horrifying sunlight from pouring through but it still gets soooo hot! I mean really! What gives!?

So far, I think the best way to knock out the heat is to eat a nice cold Popsicle to help cool you down. However it’s not the greatest idea due to the fact that you could end up becoming a popsicle-holic. Slow down buddy, you don’t want to take in too much sugar or get a stomach ache. Still, I think doing whatever will work is the best idea.
