The Summer Heat

Woo! It is starting to get really hot these days. I mean you can really tell that summer is right around the corner and as you may already know I really enjoy hot weather. However, as of late the heat has been making me feel so worn out and that too is draining. I try not to be in such a rush sometimes because by the time I reach my destination I will feel sweaty and that can make someone feel “gross” at times. Blech! I really hate that feeling what about you?

Also, as the summer sun is rearing its head I feel like I have to prepare a brand new arsenal of summer wear. This year I think that task will be a trying one. Last summer I had more time to wear casual clothing during the week but now not so much. I think to myself “I can’t wear shorts to work, but that most surely would be nice” and then continue to ponder about what may or may not be ok in terms or work and heat friendly wear. I really like to wear sweaters and cardigans in the summer because inside of buildings it is usually quite cold but it makes me feel as though I am melting when I wear them when out and about. What type of clothing do you like to wear in the summer that others may not do so much?

Well, please take care this summer to stay hydrated and try not to overheat yourselves with rigorous outdoor activities and I’ll be sure to do the same. There’s plenty of water and sports drinks at the convenience stores and in the vending machines!
