エミー賞作品「The Sopranos」(英会話あぜりあ　JR津田沼・京成津田沼・西船橋・佐倉）

Hi. My name is Will, and I’m from Boston in the United States. I’m a native teacher at Azalea. Recently I’ve been re-watching one of my favorite TV shows on DVD. It’s The Sopranos, which originally aired on the American TV network HBO in the early 2000’s. If you haven’t seen or heard of this TV show, I recommend strongly that you get a hold of it somehow and watch it. The show is the story of the titular Italian-American mafia family, in particular the father and patriarch Tony Soprano. Among many other themes, the storylines focus on how he balances his illegal and often extremely violent life as a crime boss with the normal responsibilities of a father and husband. The writing and production are just incredible, with subtle themes and fantastic acting. Every time I watch an episode I notice something that I hadn’t noticed before. Many people consider The Sopranos to be the greatest American TV show of all time.

アメリカ合衆国マサチューセッツ州ボストン出身。ボストンのTufts大学卒業。在学中交換留学生として金沢の大学に1年間在籍。大学にてボランティアで教えた経験もあり。アメリカでは小学校、中学、高校で教える。TESOLとTEFLのダブル資格保持。日本語能力試験2級を保持しており日本通。来日以来英語教師をする一方、英文翻訳、校正経験もあり。
