Rio Olympics:初心者英会話学習(英会話 あぜりあ 船橋・西船橋・津田沼・佐倉)

Hello again. This week the Olympics are starting, and it’s mildly exciting. I can’t say I always look forward to the Olympics with bated breath. It’s nice to watch when it comes, but it’s not really on my sporting calendar. I guess the big stories this time around are some of the Russians getting banned for doping, and all the things that are happening in Rio. Talk about bad luck. The Zika virus popped up at just the wrong time, causing many huge name athletes to skip the games. Andy Murray isn’t going, as well as most of the best golfers in the world, including Jason Day, Jordan Spieth, Hideki Matsuyama, Dustin Johnson, and others. It’s too bad, because Olympic golf in Rio would have been interesting to watch with all of them playing. Apparently they decided that it wasn’t worth the risk of catching Zika. Brazil’s government also seems to be going through a lot of problems recently. I think their president was impeached for corruption. Not exactly the best way to start off the Olympic festivities. Next time I’ll talk about Metal Gear Solid 5. Another game that came out fairly recently and looks amazing. I’m thinking about buying a gaming laptop or a Playstation 4 just to play Metal Gear and Fallout 4.
