Ana from England 「あぜりあ」本八幡・西船橋・津田沼・佐倉

Hello everyone!

My name is Ana and I’m very happy to meet you all!

I grew up in a small coastal town of Eastbourne in East Sussex, UK. Though cosy and charming, the town itself is nothing to write home about, but it‘s located close to Beachy Head, which is a headland famous for its white chalk cliffs and beautiful scenery. The view is both enticing and dangerous, so you should never come too close to the edge!

Growing up I was fascinated by Japan and its culture and I had always dreamed about learning to speak Japanese. It sounds so melodic and unique and for the longest time I’d been listening to Japanese music artists without having any clue what the lyrics were about. I finally worked up the courage and moved to Japan in 2016 and fell in love with this country. My Japanese is still nowhere near good, but it’s very fun to learn new things every day.

I truly enjoy working with kids and I found my passion for teaching. It’s very fulfilling to see results of your work and when the kids show enthusiasm for English.

I have a cat named Peka and she is the cutest thing in the world. She is also loving it here in Japan and it looks like she even understands some Japanese phrases now. If you see me around don’t hesitate to talk to me about your pets!

イギリス生まれ。父がロシア人、母がイギリス人のハーフ。イギリスとロシアで教育を受け、ドイツ語、日本語も堪能、４か国語を操る。来日して２年、可愛い猫のペカちゃんを飼っており、アニメ、特にセーラームーンが大好き。目下日本語をさらに勉強中。
