Confidence is Key!

Recently I had a really big test to take and normally I do quite well in terms of test taking. However this time I was really nervous I mean I studied really hard because I really wanted to pass the test the first time around. Well, I really let my nerves get the best of me so I made many small mistakes and I missed the passing score by 1 point. 1 point!! Can you believe that!?!?! Good news is I scored high enough to take the retest, which made me even more nervous. After studying a bit more, I felt a bit more confident, I knew I would pass the second time. I was so confident that I was the one calming down my friends and other peers on the day of the retest. Sometimes all one needs is a little bit of reassurance to have the confidence to do something.

We all get nervous at times but I strongly believe that we have to do our best to feel and be confident in everything that we do. When we lack the needed confidence to complete the task at hand maybe things won’t go exactly as planned. Maybe afterwards you will realize you made a mistake or that you could have said r done something different; maybe it would have been the better thing to do. When we are nervous those feelings can alter or change ones judgement, and that’s not necessarily a bad thing because we live and we learn right.

Do your best to be as confident as you can because confidence is key!
