Thanksgiving Time Count-Down !!! (Part 2) 「あぜりあ」本八幡・西船橋・津田沼・佐倉

TO EVERY ONE OF MY ADORING FREIENDS AND FANS OF MY BLOGS IN CHIBA AND ALL OVER JAPAN!!!

Greetings Everyone! Here I am again, your dear Mary Ann-san, ready to greet my Saturday and the coming week with excitement, happiness, and enjoyment while waiting for the days to come. I hope that all of you are doing the same as the American Holiday of Thanksgiving approaches. Are you getting ready?

BLOG; #86 : Thanksgiving Time Count-Down !!! (Part 2)

Would you like to enjoy a cup of coffee with me? How about a Pumpkin Ginger-Spice cupcake? No. I did not make the cupcakes, my Godmother Karen did. I don’t know if I can talk her into making some for Thanksgiving. I have already tried And I am not all that sure what the outcome of that was. I did make the coffee though and boy is it good! So, lets enjoy ourselves and get going with the second part of this Holiday Count-Down!

Let’s see now. The days are getting shorter, and the nights, thank heaven, are getting longer, which is something I personally like and can live with on a permanent basis. However, that is not the way the Seasons and other things work so I have to deal with things as they come, easily or not.

Anyway, with the happiness of those beautiful L O N G E R nights, come our Holidays. Oh Thanksgiving here we come! The Holiday, ever so long awaited, is now less than two weeks away as I write this Blog. And, wow! Am I EVER READY. I have done my Thanksgiving Shopping for my Church except for the pies, and that will be done on the 16th.

I am trying to get my apartment ready and myself ready to go to my Godparents home for the BIG DAY so that I can help my Godmother with the cooking of the meal. And even though cooking the meal is a lot of work, there is still tons to do while the Turkey roasts in the oven and you smell all the delicious Holiday smells. The Bird, the Egg Nog, the cinnamon and all the other spices, the casseroles, the pies, end everything else that smells so wonderful and delicious and just oh so very yummy! OH! I CAN NOT WAIT! And that is what I like about going to the house early, cause I get to help! That is so fun. I enjoy helping!

Most people are not like me thought, wanting to help. They just want to come for the Big Meal and enjoy the Holiday. Watch the parade and football games on television and relax. Even now, as I write this special Blog for all of you, I am trying to think what I shall bring to help the meal along. Some wine perhaps? I, of course will ask when the time comes closer so that I will be ready to enjoy it all.

So…..My Dear Ones……are you ready to enjoy Thanksgiving yet? I AM. Like I said, I CAN NOT WAIT!

WHERE IS PATIENCE WHEN YOU NEED IT?

Oh it is all so exciting!

Please Enjoy The Waiting!

Aloha,
Your Mary Ann-san
