To All Of You !!!

Here I am at long last My Dear Friends! You thought I had given you up? Oh No. It is I who almost did the giving up. It began again with a worn out modem and then other things were added to it that are still going on which I will try to explain and which I hope you will all find it in your hearts to forgive me for so that we may continue our beautiful and long lasting friendship.

I feel so sad about what has been happening lately and I hope soon, all will be well with us.



BLOG: #112: IT’S MOTHER’S DAY? ARE YOU SURE?

Oh Yes. I checked. It is MOTHER’S DAY! I called my daughter-in-law this morning to wish her Happy Mother’s Day but she beat me to it. Instead of saying Hello when she got on the phone, she said: Happy Mother’s Day. SO, I repeated the greeting. She is packed up and ready to go to Ukiah she said. She is going to have breast surgery this Tuesday, the 14 of May. Everyone here is praying for her. She is the same age as I am. She is older by about a month and a half. So, It goes without saying a word that I am worried about her. Especially when the doctor found two lumps! Fortunately on my mammograms they find NOTHING. My daughter-in-law has to have 20 hours of radiation too. She had the biopsy already too.

Then there is the matter of my modem which compared to my daughter-in-law having breast surgery is nothing but it DOES stop our Blogs from being written. So, as unimportant as it is, it is something.

Now……about me. Your Mary Ann-san is slowly running out of time and has to find a new place to live. After 34 years of living here I have 45 days to get out once the letter comes. The New Rental Manager for my Unit where I live called me up one Sunday Morning and said that my rent amount was going up from $420.00 a month to $850.00 a month cause that is what the new landlord wants, All this after my former landlord whom I was on excellent terms with by the way, had promised me UNIT 6 downstairs. And then he sold out .For Two days now the new rental manager was supposed to come to my place so pictures could be taken so the new landlord could see the condition of my unit and that it is NOT in living condition and perhaps the rent could be lowered until I could find a new place. But the rental manager had to change the date to come cause she said she had to go to work. So I have had to wait two days plus a weekend. She is suppose to come tomorrow. It is also messing up the people who are trying to help me because they have jobs too. One is a BOSS. I have shortened this story a bit but your Hitomi-san knows it all.

I am hoping things work out. Wish me luck. I must find a place fast……..one that will accept a cat. BABY PAWS.

And so I ask: IT’S MOTHER’S DAY? ARE YOU SURE?

With all this happening, I am really beginning to wonder.
