BLOG : # 81: A BELATED BIRTHDAY !!!

An Autumn Birthday! How fantastically wonderful and exciting is that? Even if it is belated by a day? Oh yeah. You betcha! So, when I went out to get the all-important items for this Birthday Party, I just knew that I had to get the very best things! I couldn’t wait to get going! I was that excited! And I of course was hoping our little celebration would go well too even if it was just a small one; a Birthday Party where only the two of us were invited, myself and the one whose Birthday it was.

The main Birthday dish was the Party Boy’s favorite: Fancy Wild Sockeye Red Salmon. The second dish was Chicken so he could have a choice and truly enjoy his BIG Birthday. I, of course, would have things no other way. I wanted The Birthday Boy to be really happy. After all, a Birthday only comes once a year so something extra special HAS to be done. Right? Right! Naturally.

As for the presents, the first one was given in the evening so he could have a grand time and yet play with his gift quietly without disturbing anyone. He was thrilled. The second one was given during the hours of daylight because of its noise factor. Though the noise was small, we did not want anyone awakening in the middle of the night just because The Birthday Boy wanted to play. It would not matter to HIM if the hour was LATE or not. But it would most likely matter to those who had already toddled off to their beds and were already somewhere in dreamland and sleeping.

So, it goes without saying, My Dear Ones, that The Belated Birthday and Party were a huge success, a Happy Time, truly enjoyed by the one giving and the one receiving. And guess what? I would do it all again in a heartbeat for him. After all……he deserves it!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU, MY DEAR BABY PAWS TAI-PAN !!!

Your Mommy loves you !!!
